The children’s product has been retired
Examling used to include a separate children’s learning product alongside exam preparation. It has been discontinued. Examling is now an exam-preparation service for adults and older students only, and there is no part of it designed for, directed at, or offered to children under 13.
This page is kept because it is linked from elsewhere and because the questions it used to answer still deserve answers.
What was collected, and what was not
The children’s product was built so that identifying a child was not possible. It stored a nickname chosen by the parent and an age group. It never had a field for a real name, photograph, voice recording, address, precise location, contact details or biometric data — not as a policy, but as a schema: there was nowhere to put them. The children’s experience never used the microphone.
What happened to the data
Nothing new is collected. Data belonging to accounts that used the product before it was retired remains associated with the parent’s account, and is deleted with that account.
How to have it erased now
You do not have to wait, and you do not have to ask us. Signing in and deleting your account removes it immediately, along with everything else the account holds. If you would rather we did it, or you can no longer sign in, write to support@examling.com from the address on the account and we will complete it within 30 days.
Age of use
Examling is intended for people aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, write to support@examling.com and we will remove it.
The current policy is the Privacy Policy.
